a lot of the greatest things I've experienced have been food

had a lobster bisque on friday
fucking lovely.
my top food experiences have been:
beef wellington (cooked by my mate)
an outstanding paella (cooked by my mate)
roast tenderloin of pork with sage, butternut squash and crackling risotto (cooked by my mate)
seared pigeon breast with celeriac mash and foie gras (cooked by a really fancy restaurant)

the chicken katsu curry my mrs made the other way was pretty special. Easy to make as well. You should try it.

Oddly enough, I'm spending less on food, rather than spending £25 a couple of times a week on sushi, I'm getting amazing ingredients such as Lobster.
