I love people who get offended on behalf of other people.
I'm a bit upset that I'm not in some sort of minority so that I can get some guy standing up for my rights on an internet message board. I'd feel so protected and validated, it'd be great!

I'm sure that all the gay internet people are feeling thankful to Alphonso Bongo for his heroism, after all we all know what a bunch of limp-wristed woolly woofters they all are.

So I guess you're... gay positive?

If only I had sufficient moral bravery
to stand up for a load of people who didn't want or ask me to.

What if he was gay?
Surely it's within his rights to be annoyed by homophobia then?
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:18, Reply)
But he isn't
because he said he wasn't.
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:18, Reply)
but he did have some gay friends
being gay
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:20, Reply)
And they were all offended and asked him to stand up for them all online, did they?
I suspect not.
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:21, Reply)
damn
it won't let me put the comment which was

'he has gay friends which (bigger than sign) being gay'
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:24, Reply)
Oh right
"I am totally offended by this, because I totally have loads of gay friends"

Because he thinks gay people are different and require him to stand up for them. Unlike other people, who don't. Or, in other words, positive discrimination.

perceived homophobia

Repeatedly singling out 2 members of the board to call gay in the most graphic terms is homophobic.
It's a very low level and there's no harm to it but call a spade a spade.
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:22, Reply)
who is the second one?
also, racist
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:23, Reply)
If you need to ask then it's you.

You really think that Darth is bothered by it?
If anyone meant it then it would be homophobic, but we all love the big tangoing queer

How do you know what his favourite fizzy drink is? Unless you've bummed him.

(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:34, Reply)
I asked

(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:37, Reply)

I'd spill his pop then, wouldn't I?

Yeah I think he is,
he's accepted it but it did bother him at the beginning, why do you think people did it.
(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:37, Reply)
If it bothered him that much he wouldn't post every day

(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 10:37, Reply)
Where else will he get all the attention?
