You've confused the word top with shite, Jeff.
Daft load of old pony emphasised by the fact they roll it out at Stamford Bridge before kick off.

I'll bet the only person who is proud of it is Al Fayed.
I'm sure most Fulham supporters are aghast at the fact it has been put where it is.

Also, when you next fancy winding them up, just post them this link.

Here you go.
www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112151&page=5

Last week I was telling them I was a big Fulham fan but an even bigger MJ fan, and warned them that snatch squads of supporters were planning to behead the statue before spraying 'JACKSON WAS A PAEDO' on Putney Bridge and then throwing it into the Thames. I was their man on the inside, if you will. Keeping them updated and helping plan how we'd stop such things from happening. They loved it but then it all got deleted. The threats they make on there are hilarious too.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 22:52, Reply)
That's fantastic.
I like the way the the 'MJ lunatic fringe' will take no grief from Fulham supporters 'if they get hassled'.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 22:56, Reply)
Ha, brilliant isn't it.
I can just imagine the Old Bill trying to get a grasp of things; "a load of Fulham have kicked off with QPR in Hammersmith, but they've just been ambushed by an as yet unidentified group of lads all wearing sequinned white gloves on their left hands".
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 23:12, Reply)
It'll be great if your lot rush them.
As them having it away on their toes will be a fantastic sight as they all moonwalk into retreat.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 23:14, Reply)
I'm definitely going to sing "I just can't, I just can't, I just can't control my feet" as I repeatedly kick any of them that have fallen over whilst trying to get away.

Their second album is class. Although I love them more because they hated the legions of twats who came to their gigs purely to hear their three or so massive hits, so would play the Ghostbusters theme tune for half hour and then elongate the opening instrumental for Kids to about twenty minutes.

EDIT - I love that video. Even though I am terribly confused by it...
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 22:48, Reply)
Fuck me, really?
Tickets are an absolute rip off though saying that, fifty five quid. When I saw The Strokes at Wireless about five years ago it was £30.
EDIT: Just checked and there's about ten bands playing, was only three when I went so I suppose that's why it's pricier.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 22:55, Reply)
£55 for a day ticket isn't that steep
When it was announced, it was the only show Pulp were playing. I'd happily pay £50 to see them, having missed them during their heyday.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 22:58, Reply)
Sorry I meant in comparison to what they were.
But yeah didn't realise so many were playing, fucking Gogo Bordello and Dirty Pretty Things supported The Strokes. I think tickets would have been more expensive if they didn't.
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 23:08, Reply)

Would love to see The Strokes, they're headlining Leeds/Reading but I quite definitely do not have £192 for a ticket...

What do you think?
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 23:53, Reply)

I also think the writers abandoned characterisation from earlier series. I mean Vicky being too shy to model in the school fashion show, hardly fits with her poledancing for money in her lunch break at the local bar
(, Sat 26 Mar 2011, 23:54, Reply)
Exactly.
And the Miss Montoya storyline has been done already (well, a similar one).

I think we need to find new trash to watch.

I've just finished that Fank Skinner show
It didn't raise much of a laugh.

It was like a comedy panel show, but without much comedy.

The only bit that did make me chuckle was Lee Mack asking if there were any shallow women on that dating website.

That made me laugh
though like I said above I quite liked Miranda Hart's reply (though not for comedy value)

So is Essex a soap
Or a docu?
(, Sun 27 Mar 2011, 0:37, Reply)
Bit of both
it claims to be real, but some of the stuff is definitely set up
(, Sun 27 Mar 2011, 0:45, Reply)
I watched 5 minutes of it and then turned it off.
It was a bit too much for me.

Anything else you can suggest?
(, Sun 27 Mar 2011, 0:48, Reply)
Are you looking specifically for some trash?

(, Sun 27 Mar 2011, 0:49, Reply)
Trash or quality.
I don't mind.

I'm not going to sleep for hours.

Start watching Breaking Bad
*pimping it like mad* that's for something serious

For something trashy maybe Snog, Marry, Avoid on bbciplayer, or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for some really dark comedy
