I'm about
sort of. Good day?

And how was your day?
I spent the early morning faffing in the kitchen then went out and walked for nine miles. Gorgeous day in the end, lovely walk too. Now I'm considering passing out quite soon, I've been up since half four.

Meh, was alright I suppose
well no, it was good and springy and sunshiney and relaxed apart from the ongoing boy thing.
Half four?!

I know, I woke up and turned over and had a drum and bass melody running around my head.
Tried for half an hour to get back to sleep then the kid downstairs woke up and that was game over.

drum n bass 'melody'?
these are not words that go easily together.

Shush you.

Not bad, mostly
Although we've just had a chinese, and I am now suffering very greatly. It has become abundantly clear to me recently that I cannot process MSG. My middle hurts. *sadface*

I'm working on it with large amounts of water, but I'm wondering if alcohol might be a better idea....

Drown it with booze
it's definitely the way forward. And maybe some rennies or something?

In the long term the remedy is going to have to be no more chineses ever
For the moment, mr b3th's big baggy sweatpants and a comfy chair are as good as it gets.

That's lame :(
chineses are one of the best of all the takeaways. Why can't you tolerate MSG?
(, Sat 2 Apr 2011, 20:21, Reply)
I don't know
but it's happened enough and with such regularity and speed, that I know it must be the food that's causing the problem. Apparently a lot of people have this reaction to MSG. Over the last year or so I've also become a bit funny with lactose.

My dad's a coeliac, so it could be worse. At least I can eat bread. Lovely, lovely, yummy bread...

Is MSG not just generally a bit bad for you anyway?
Other than the fact that it makes things mega-tasty.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2011, 20:28, Reply)
probably
but it's the tasty tasty part that usually wins out.

No more, though. I have to admit defeat.
(, Sat 2 Apr 2011, 20:34, Reply)
Last I heard
Was that MSG is a neurotoxin. So, if you think about it, your immune system is doing the right thing by reacting to it.

I might be wrong though.

Probably not though.

Just, you know, maybe, possibly, nah', I'm being silly, you wouldn't... well, maybe, if you fancy getting feed at the same table I'm feeding at the same time.
