Which websites do you visit that are out of date? How far you want to go? If it's a quick Europe trip, I recommend you try skyscanner.net for the flights and lateroom.com for the hotel.
If it's for a long intercontinental one, trailfinders have always been really good with us.

Last time we went away was our honeymoon so everything looks a bit shit next to that!

Lastminute is good for packages. I've found really good deals, specially if the hotel doesn't have to be in the city center.

going into skyscanner.net and writing from London to everywhere and the month in which I want to travel, and see where I can go for less money. You can use a different from airport, if London is not good for you.

She did basically that and ended up in Seville. She's moving there next year for a year. I'll miss her :(

to just say "Yes, I have a few days left, where can I go for almost nothing?" Doing that I've been in Oslo, Prague, Berlin, Granada... lots of places always for less than £30 return flight.

I've never been to Germany, despite some family being from there.

But don't go in winter, go in Spring or Summer. Even Autum is ok. It's a beautiful city, full of beer and big sausages ;)

go to Seville to visit her. You'll love the place. Try pescaíto frito on the beach. Mmmmm! Or if she has a place in the city, go for Easter and get your mind ready for a blown up.

Are they hoping to get the International certificate in pick-pocketing and street crime?
(, Tue 12 Apr 2011, 16:56, Reply)
You have to be really careful with pick pocketing. I don't know about street crime, but yes, you don't walk on your own at night, anywhere.

Never let the opportunity to visit a place with someone who lives there go past you! Barcelona is just fantastic, I'm sure you'll love both places. You can go by fast train Barcelona-Madrid, Madrid-Seville in almost no time too, and if you book the tickets in advance, they're really cheap. Send me a gaz if you need help with the bookings!

I've been to Barcelona, it was lovely. But I bet it'd be even better with someone who lives there.

And you'll get to go out to the not so expensive places and be able to spend a night clubbing for less than 100e, which in BCN is always a bonus!
