in hindsight the reception was shit and they played the same song 15 times an hour.

I remember that, it just happened one day, and all the decent dj's were fucked off. Sad times.
I was surprised that they didn't have James Stannage on the twats

My brother used to send me cassettes of 808 State's show on Key 103
They were legendary in Winchester. Any time there was any piano or singing he'd edit it out so it was HARDCORE ALL THE WAY.
I still have a few of the tapes: 'Steamin' Tunes vols 1-7'

I saw Dinosaur Jr on the Rollercoaster tour supporting the JAMC.
They were awful. Which was a shame.

All shit, apparently.

I've seen Mudhoney a couple of times and they were excellent.
Missed out on Nirvana though, just before they hit big. Could've got in on the guest list at the Riverside in Newcastle (I'd done some work experience for them and payment was in kind). Because I'd never heard of them I declined.

They did one of those 'play a so-called classic LP in its entirety' thing in Camden
a year or so back - my bro went. They were off stage by 9pm. Cunts.
