Since we're making grand, sweeping statements
Poetry really is stupid and pointless. Not in a modern art "some bits are ok" level, but all of it from about 1900 onwards. Every. Single. Last. Bit. Of it. Including Milligan and every other poet that you might quite like and think should be exempted. You're wrong.

You must feel a bit more
in touch with your emotions when you are watching Glee?

Getting to touch your inner-homo, so to speak.

This post ruined Wilfred Owen for me
I still think it's a cracking poem though

I didn't see Kitchener or any of the other real warriors
writing any namby-pamby nancy poetry. They were too busy getting people killed like REAL men.

Gayest poem of all time is 'Tell me lies about Vietnam' by Adrian Mitchell.
Fucking atrocious. Makes Pam Ayres look like fucking Keats.

see I disagree.
I've got a book of poems by Micheal Leunig, and I love them. And I have a book that's a collection of love poems and some of them are just so beautiful that they make me cry, every single time I read them.
I think Poetry has to be taken with a grain of salt, but I love it.

See, you're wrong.
Well, maybe wrong's a bit harsh. You are merely monumentally deluded.
(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 10:27, Reply)
Nah, I think I'm just different to you in my view of it!

(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 10:29, Reply)
Correct.
And since I am right, that makes you wrong.
(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 10:32, Reply)
sport is all fucking shit

(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 10:27, Reply)

(, Wed 20 Apr 2011, 10:30, Reply)
