Nice beach, kiddo and I went there last year, certainly one of the best beaches I've ever been to.
Pie and chips, a Red Stripe, a chat with Poppet and Megamind. Happiness.

You back on the booze?

my coke ribs worked pretty well, received acclaim from all tasters at my barbecue.
Next time I'd reduce the coke down to make a sauce I think, but I was exhausted yesterday so just cooked them on a gentle simmer in coke for an hour or two, then doused them with chiptole Tabasco and grilled for a couple of minutes each side on the barbecue. Really good.

Did you happen to photograph it up for coll3ctive?

certainly did.
the last few photos weren't quite as hoped, because I was knackered and we were all eager to dig in, but I'll write it up at some point soon.

It certainly is a nice one. The last time I was there I accidentally left the dog's lead there, and we had to improvise with the belt off my coat.
I think the nicest beach in the world is in St Andrews, and the second nicest I have ever been to is in the Outer Hebrides. Believe it or not, when we were living there it did actually get warm enough to swim in the sea during the summer. I no rite!?

Today has been lovely. Me and doggins went to the park, and I realised that we are extremely lucky to have sucha beautiful area right on our doorstep, in the middle of what is essentially a shithole of a town.

I loved it in the Outer Hebrides
and the beaches were beautiful.

One year
a whale washed up on the beach. Just a small whale, but it was fucking enormous. And no-one moved it, so it just lay there decomposing. And just for the record, decomposing whales smell RANK.

I'd have hacked off a slice for dinner
