I'm not massive by any means
Just want to lose about half a stone, which is all located around my stomach.

And I am absolutely unprepared to do this by giving up beer.

This is my problem, booze is my weakness
I would swap to gin and slim, but it's a bit expensive.

I sat in the pub all day on Monday and drank 8 pints, I think that's my weekly allowance :(

You know this week is a leap week right?
Double allowances.

Woohoo!
Still, my belly doesn't believe in leap weeks!

It has been pointed out to Ms Foxtrot that next year is a leap year so she can ask me to marry her
The people making this point are those who assume the reason we're not married is because I'm the commitment-phobe.

These people do not know my girlfriend very well.

I reckon a lot of people know your girlfriend very well
if you know what I mean.
(, Wed 4 May 2011, 10:34, Reply)
I don't
Please elaborate

I think she's wonderfully gregarious in nature
and therefore people, having met her only briefly, really feel like they connected and got along so well that they really make an effort to see her again and spend time in her company, during which they really get to know her well. She's an excellent listener, asking questions at appropriate moments, and she remembers a lot of facts that people tell her, so they feel special. She's just a great person.

Having read the first half of that I was going to lambast you for inaccuracy
but the second half is spookily accurate. She's not gregarious by any means though, she's quite shy. I'm the gobby one. Shocking, eh
