The Matrix/Toy Story 2/Fight Club
I was so angry that Fight Club didn't do better when it was released.

I'll admit, I was probably too young to fully 'get it' the first time I watched it, and as such I didn't enjoy it
After much pestering from others, I rewatched it, and found it to be just as dull the second time round.

Are you talking about Fight Club?
I think there may be an age thing, if you hadn't spent some time in the tedium of the the working world then the fundamental underlying cause of the story may have missed you.

I have to agree with this
I had no such experience when I first saw the film but have grown to appreciate it more since doing so.
