I can totally beat that
I bought tickets to see Dave Gorman's Googlewhack tour as soon as they came out. I say tickets, it was just one, as I'm a sad no-mates and mr b3th doesn't think Gorman is funny.

Fast forward four or five months and one morning I wake up reaslising that the show was the night before.

Now that takes some kind of retardedness.

I managed to get on a free guest list to see Terrorvision (I think) many years ago
and turned up just as they finished. Nice chaps though

You only think that because you missed their set.

This may be true. They were good chaps and spent the rest of the night chatting and buying everyone loads of drinks though

I won a redl letter day driving supercars
I had to travel into the arctic circle near Nottinghma to do it though. As such i put of booking it for ages until it was the last valid day. i called up and they said I was too late. Turns out the date on my watch was a day slow :(

I had
the same red-letter day thing. Was booked for Brands Hatch. About 2 weeks before the date they changed the venue to Chipping Norton. So a 400 round trip for 20 mins in a car instead of a 40 mile one.

Blew it out in the end.

I did that with Beth Orton once
Turns out she was playing two dates in London and I had tickets to the monday, not the tuesday as I had thought. Fortunately I managed to get two tickets the the tuesday on the day.

One of my ex's 'tidied away' 8 tickets to the Motorhead 30th anniversary show.
I'd been paid by everyone for them and had to replace them. She denied all knowledge of them. I found them stuffed into a cupboard in my kitchen about a year later. Stupid fucking cow.
