I bought TC's birthday present
a signed LP of his favourite band/favourite album. I got a lot of bonus points for that.
I think the last thing before that was some really nice coffee beans for my ma and some wild boar sausages for my best mate from the farmer's market in my village, just because I love them both.

It's got to be awkward when a new partner has a birthday
Do you go all out on the proper girlfriend type present and risk looking like a bunny boiler, or do you give them a box of Roses and a manly handshake?

Well played.

It was a bit expensive and impressive
given that we've only been seeing other 6 weeks or so...but it was worth it to see the look on his face. Presents are for making other people happy, after all.

I'm buggered if I know how to top that for Christmas though.
mind you, he'll probably have dumped me by then.

You're going to have to pull out all the stops
I would suggest arranging for the lead singer of said band to fellate him gently while the rest play instrumental hits.

Get him some sexy underwear for you.
He'll appreciate it.

Hahaha!
that's a good idea actually, I'm pretty sure he's already seen most of the sexy pants I've got...

That's quite a big present to get someone you've only been seeing a few weeks.
Well done.

beat ya to it

Well, it was £35
if I hadn't been able to think of anything I'd have taken him out for dinner, which would most likely have been more expensive, so...well, that's how I justified it anyway.

No, fair play to you
I hope he appreciates what a special person you are.

And when I say special, I don't mean "SPESHUWL!!!!!" I actually mean special.

Yes, he does
and his training is coming along nicely; no silly emo outbursts since I got back from holiday.
