Shedload of work = bad. Caffeine + music = good
A balanced day, if you will

Has he stolen your walkman again?

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 8:58, Reply)
I'm blaming it on the Weatherman

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:00, Reply)
were you standing on the shore, calling out her name?

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:12, Reply)
I honestly don't know
We had a public speaking course in work a few years ago and had to pick something to present on. My boss forgot and the first thing he found at home was a B*witched annual of his daughters. It was most entertaining to hear him giving a heartfelt 15 minute speech about the Irish popsters

oh bloody hell. Wish you'd taped that.
I would have watched it for a laugh...

This morning's journey into work was a mix of
Jimi Hendrix
Pearl Jam
Therapy?
Rolling Stones
Jesus Jones
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 8:58, Reply)
I believe Therapy is the correct name

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 8:59, Reply)
zing

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:00, Reply)
A mixed bag of excellent and fucking terrible, then.

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:00, Reply)
Divided how sir?
Apart from the obvious Jimi
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:01, Reply)
Of that list I only have time for Hendrix and 'The Stones'.
When I was at 6th form college a gang of tossers I didn’t like were ‘into Jesus Jones’ so I disapprove even though I couldn’t honestly say I know any songs. They also liked the dismally-named ‘Ned’s Atomic Dustbin’ who I can confidently write off as fucking shit despite once again knowing none of their output. I know you really like Pearl Jam so I’ll only say they are/were at best mediocre once.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:08, Reply)
I thought you might divide them that way
Jesus Jones remind me of being at college!
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:11, Reply)
Pearl Jam did some dubious stuff
but they also did some outstandingly good music.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:12, Reply)
This^
I can't help loving all of it though
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:18, Reply)
They have kept it hidden from me if you're right.
But then you 'came of musical age' during 'grunge' (belm) so you have a slight blind spot in this field, I have found.

I have a similar problem with dippy acidhead music.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:18, Reply)
This is most likely true
I love listening to Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, etc.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:20, Reply)
Alice in Chains aren't actually grunge
they just happened to be from the same place at the same time.

I'd argue that Soundgarden aren't either because their music is too proficient.
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:23, Reply)
Same labelling at the time though

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:27, Reply)
I was actually ever so slightly later
but my brothers were big fans.

My favourite is their greatly under-appreciated album Binaural
(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:21, Reply)
I'm quite enjoying Backspacer at the moment

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:27, Reply)
Eddie had a fantastic voice

(, Tue 24 May 2011, 9:23, Reply)
Yeah but Syd was more the natural entertainer.
IT'S A 'LITTLE AND LARGE' JOKE!!!!
