Not great
Just received an email off my friend's Dad, the one with cancer. I'd had confirmation of it from one of his sons, but it's really sad to see it coming from him.

My line manager has just cheered me up a bit though, so I'm not feeling too down in the dumps.

I've got the dullest job of the week to do this morning, including training someone else to do it.
