I don't like casseroles/stews/etc, they're dull and tedious to me.

meat in sauce makes up a large percentage of world cuisine
call it a curry or a stew or a bolognese sauce or tagine or stir fry, it's all meat in sauce.

That's why I didn't say 'meat in sauce' but casserole/stew....
... eg, food that has been left to cook in a single dish for an extensive period of time, but in my case, I'm focusing european food that falls under that catagory.
