I'd welcome it
give me something to do

Did you decide on a suitable gift for your wife-to-be?

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:30, Reply)
not yet
still got a little while to go and I need to judge the scale of gift more accurately I think

Maybe she'd like a new iron.

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:32, Reply)
I can't remember the last time something was ironed in my house

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:33, Reply)
is that because you dropped the iron on your head?

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:33, Reply)
I wish I could say it was
we tend not to iron things. cunningly all my work shirts are non-iron ones.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:35, Reply)
i don't so much buy non-iron clothes
as dress like a bag lady. I only own an iron for textiles stuff
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:37, Reply)
I don't mind ironing.
But the secret is to get stuff in from the line as soon as it's dried, and you can get away without ironing a lot of stuff like t-shirts and jeans.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:37, Reply)
I am actually quite saddened that I know this.

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:40, Reply)
it's the approach that I take as well

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:41, Reply)
Well if you get her a nice new iron she'll be able to get back into it!

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:34, Reply)
A 15" black rubber cock says so much, though.

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:32, Reply)
perhaps a white one
it's more weddingy
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:32, Reply)
that is true

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:33, Reply)
It doesn't say as much as a 15 year old with a mobile phone.
I'm still shocked at how such a high bill was managed.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:35, Reply)
So am I.
Although the previous month was £84, so at least it was lower this time.

*rolls eyes skywards*
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:36, Reply)
I would've got a beating if I'd run up that much of a bill

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:37, Reply)
So would I!
We've upped his contract to 900 minutes of calls. An extra tenner a month, but I'd rather pay that the an extra £70 per bill! If manages to go over that, the phone will be used to soundly beat him around the head with.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:39, Reply)
sound parenting there

(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:42, Reply)
Also, we need to get the log on for the phone provider's website sorted.
The phone's in the missus' name, but she forgot the password. At least then we can monitor his use more rigorously.
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 18:44, Reply)
You should have put him on pay as you go.
He'll soon learn to budget!
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 19:19, Reply)
We thought we were being canny and stuff.
When he was on PAYG, he'd use his £15 pretty quickly (and didn't learn to budget), so we thought a contract with a high number of texts and some free calls for emergencies would be better. Wish we'd left him on PAYG now. Still, only 16 months until we can cancel the contract *sigh*
(, Mon 6 Jun 2011, 19:24, Reply)
Take his phone off him and buy him the shittiest £20 PAYG
Either you or Tourettes can use it then
