Sorry about the job
I hope you get more lucky next time.

And I agree about women wearing what they want. If a goth is attacked for wearing black clothes, everybody's shocked and ask why that happened and why people can't be more open minded, but if a girl is dressing provocatively, then, well, she's looking for it, isn't she?

If an Emo got slashed in a mugging would you say they were asking for it?

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:52, Reply)
Yes

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:55, Reply)
Of course not
That's the same here. We are just giving an excuse to the attackers. People should be able to wear what they want and be as they want without fearing for it.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:55, Reply)
But that's not how the real world works though

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:57, Reply)
And there is no point in ever trying to change peoples opinions.

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:00, Reply)
I'm glad you are finally talking sense

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:01, Reply)
I can't be arsed persuading the estate kids that gofficks are there to be loved and appreciated just as they themselves are loved and appreciated in their own home environments and amongst their peers
Perhaps you can lecture them at school and down the rec in your spare time
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:09, Reply)
Well we know you can't be arsed to do anything
which is why you spend all your time trying to make yourself look superior on an internet forum which revels in childish humour.

lol upset

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:18, Reply)
Now accuse me of being angry.

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:20, Reply)
lolol more upset

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:21, Reply)
Perhaps
we should go back to proper decend dressing and covering from top to bottom to avoid men feeling unconfortable, as it's impossible to educate society.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:16, Reply)
It's about having some common sense and awareness of where you are, people get killed for wearing the wrong football top
It's all part of human nature and tribalism.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:21, Reply)
Yes
But it was worse 500 years ago, we have improved, why can't we improve further?
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:26, Reply)
Has humanity really improved in the past 500 years?
Adolf Hitlers European tour 1939 - 1945, Soviet Russia, and Communist China, Pol Pots Cambodia, Afghanistan under the Taliban and any number of other examples suggests otherwise.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:31, Reply)
Yeah
the wars before were a lot better than the recent wars, eh? And before people used to complain for their goverments to start a war nobody wanted too. Yeah, yeah. And rape between a married couple was always considered rape; child abuse was always punishable; equality standards have always been the same...

And glad you mention the Taliban and such, as they live as we used to live more than 500 years ago, and haven't evolved a bit.

You and I studied different history; are you sure you're from Earth?
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:34, Reply)
I was paying attention that's all

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:43, Reply)
Well
You didn't do very well. Sorry to tell you.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:49, Reply)
That's why they're complaining
I'm glad you're getting it.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:07, Reply)
Actually i was joking on this point!

(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:57, Reply)
I was hoping so
I'm glad you were.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:04, Reply)
Interestingly
Female jurors are more likely to decide that "the girl was asking for it by dressing provocatively" then male jurors.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 10:56, Reply)
Really?
I wouldn't be surprised, I suppose, we can be very bitchy with ourselves. I think putting other females down makes us believe we'll have more males to choose from. Or maybe it's just jealousy.

I'm quite glad I grown up as I did. Some people now said I was a slut, but gladly, that's not the way me and my friends (or people in Tenerife, really) saw it. I wish it was the same every where. A healthy and varied sexual life is very rewarding.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:07, Reply)
Yeah I've heard about this at ex-work as well
women are horrible to each other.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:17, Reply)
The biggest threat to the 'Sisterhood' is other women
And sharks.
(, Thu 9 Jun 2011, 11:19, Reply)
stop messing with my shark fear
It's a genuine concern!
