but agree with Al below too. You should be able to dress as you want, but be sensible and know that you're taking a risk, and therefore, protect yourselve. As I said above, I'd never be on my own or leave a friend on her own if we were dressed for party. No way.

it's the situation. Rapes are usually opportunistic and the woman is more likely to be vulnerable when walking home by herself, drunk, at 3am. Those are the factors that make her more likely to be raped, that she's wearing an easy-access dress and no pants is just icing on the rapecake.
