And how far was it?
And did you have a nice weekend as well!

Fair to middling.

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:28, Reply)
That doesn't sound like it was as much fun as it should have been.
Tell Uncle Jeff all about it.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:29, Reply)
Sorry! not in the best of moods.
What have you been up to?
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:30, Reply)
I was at a wedding on the weekend.
I had a monumental hangover on Sunday. :(

*Wants to cheer up Blousie*
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:30, Reply)
I had a Sunday hangover as well.
I wasn't sick though so that was a bonus.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:32, Reply)
Did you have a lot of fun on the Saturday that resulted in the hungover Sunday?

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:34, Reply)
I did.
Just kind of went downhill from today.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:35, Reply)
Sorry to read that :(
On the plus side, tomorrow is another day and things might be a lot better then!

Why not pour yourself a nice glass of wine, kick back and listen to some tunes.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:37, Reply)
I've gone through half a bottle already.
Another day but same old shit.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:38, Reply)
Are you properly 'meh' or do you just need to be told to MTFU

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:39, Reply)
how about a nice "there, there"?

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:41, Reply)

Jeff, I've just been looking at this tourist site and I didn't realise exactly how large london was
and it makes me sad to be so stupid
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:30, Reply)
after looking at the site once more and realising there was a flag over the actual London, and I was confusing it for "East of England"
I now feel like a bigger idiot
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:32, Reply)
You're an American. Consider yourself excused.
If you know how long you'd likely to be travelling for, I'm sure the good people of OT would be able to suggest 'things to do in Blighty' for you to consider.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:32, Reply)
all signs point to arriving saturday morning and leaving monday afternoon
but what's the point in going and not staying long enough to do stuff gosh I'm so confused
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:34, Reply)
This is true.
So do you want to see all manner of historical shit?
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:36, Reply)
not_all
I can't afford to go travelling all over the place
Guess I should just shut up and start studying all that's on offer
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:41, Reply)
Or start a 'What should Kristine do in the UK' thread.

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:41, Reply)

bum fuck egypt

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:14, Reply)
Like Yorkshire.
That's where they make BGBs. But it's also in the middle of nowhere.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:16, Reply)
I just don't know, Al
I'm literally making a spread sheet to show how much I need to set aside each week in order to have a 3 day trip there.
It will take a year in order to save enough to go for a week.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:18, Reply)
Absolutely no point doing a weekend in the UK
Honestly. There is no point in doing that at all.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:19, Reply)
Dude
there's no point coming all this way for three days. Come next year for 10 days, it'll be way more awesome, you'll have more money, more time and see more stuff and people.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:20, Reply)
^ This
It'll take you 3 days to clear customs and to find a cab.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:21, Reply)
That's not what I'm planning to doooooooooo!

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:22, Reply)
The cost of the flight will be the same if you are coming for 3 days or 3 weeks.
It would be well worth waiting and coming for longer.

You'll get to see fuck all over 3 days and it really wouldn't be worthwhile.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:24, Reply)
In three days we could take you round the big smoke
It would be so awesome, we'd show you the Houses of Parliament, we'd show you Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. We could go to the bar on the boat near Richmond Bridgeand Monty would take you to pretentious places in Shoreditch.
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:23, Reply)
oh but Al, those other people are telling me it wouldn't be worth it
I wouldn't be worth it to come over and see you lot and walk around and do things
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:24, Reply)
Can we move back over to the left hand side

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:25, Reply)
I know.
And I totally didn't have to use archive.org to find out.

At first I thought it was this fellow but no!
(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 20:56, Reply)
No, he was my inspiration though

(, Mon 20 Jun 2011, 21:02, Reply)
It's obvious as soon as you read the story about broken legs man!
