No one wants to live in Margate
believe me.

I live about 20 miles from there and that's a tad too close.
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:43, Reply)
I had a mate from Margate but she'd also lived in Kingsgate

(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:44, Reply)

There's a Kingsgate Bay near Broadstairs or there's Kingsdown near Dover
Both Broadstairs and Kingsdown are very posh. Despite being close to Margate and Dover.
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:53, Reply)
Kingsgate Bay it must be because her mum and dad's address had Broadstairs in it too.
They all just called it Kingsgate though. Maybe they were trying to sound posh.
They were NOT posh despite the Broadstairs address.
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:55, Reply)
It's nice down there
Broadstairs is really lovely. Dickens lived there - his house is up for sale at the moment actually.
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:58, Reply)

oh! did you get to the british library for the sci fi exhibition?
I did, it was coool
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:56, Reply)
I didn't, no.
I had my rucksack on my back and it was too big and I couldn't be arsed with letting the man on the door have a rummage through it.

Stupid, I know. I just went for a bit of a walk around the city instead.
(, Mon 4 Jul 2011, 19:58, Reply)
aww boo
it was pretty good coverage of all sci fi ever, I was impressed. I also felt big and clever when I found a cabinet where I'd read all the books. Probably not really a think to boast about
