Let me state my case clearly, there has been a large car bomb in an allied country very close to us. At least two people are dead people are still trapped in buildings and it's happening now live all over the internet.

The first thing she says is some vague "ask me for details" post about her and her husband having an argument waaah waaah waaah.
She should be ashamed of herself, it's self absorbed to the extreme.

I disagree, she hasn't started a new thread about it (which even then, isn't a crime), she's threadjacked.
The flow of conversation here is natural, people talk about what they want. You want to talk about a very important political event as you said, and other people who are into that sort of thing will reply. There is a differance here between B3th and CrazyBatshitAmericaphileCatAbuserPerson, in that she isn't taking over the thread with incestant negativity.

Would you rather she threadstomp and gain more replies/conversation/attention/whatever than your post, or threadjack and allow people to continue your conversation as well as hers? Ok, the awnser is you'd rather her not talk about it full-stop, but this place isn't for any individual but a collective as a hole.
