because everybody here at this uni already knows each other,
and because meeting strangers off the internet was easier cos I'd spoken to you all via gaz at least once or twice and gotten to know you.

Well I knew you didn't have a lot of friends but I assumed it was just because you're quite mature for your age and live in a small community.
I say go for it and mingle. You'll be surprised how quickly to get used to speaking to complete strangers.
