I saw a million and one things down in old Croydon. Very moody, very scary. But also quite funny. Don't condone what went on for one second but I can't deny some things weren't amusing. Saw a bod legging it down the road carrying a 32" tele on his head, not a flatscreen, but one of the old ones that goes about two foot back. There was loads but I'm knackered cos I had to run away from various hoodlums. Worth it though.

has the new police rocket boots on, if they had waited a bit longer we could have seen him take off.

Riot police were standing about a hundred yards away and tons of them dived into Richer Sounds (which was already busted wide open). Until then the ones that had been there before were sitting on teles they'd robbed opposite from a load of police vans. The cozzers did nowt, just watched until the second lot went back into the shop. That's when they went loopy, properly caving in some heads.

sorta, on twitter
I always wondered what the point of twitter was, gave it a go for some breaking news, and it just seemed to be loads of people posting the same pic of a battered police car over and over again.
And a pic of Enfield Town with some people milling about.
There is a point here somewhere.

Surely a branch of La Senza has burned down whilst some plump breasted wimmin were trying on bras? Of course, in a democratic scenario they escaped the blaze in their fire proof underwear. Apart from the bras. At which point we rub soothing lotion on their tits. Because we care and stuff.

I'm not condoning what's gone on at all, walking past some of it was really upsetting. But a tiny minority of what went on was so daft it's hard not to laugh.
