Getting a cab home last night and some very drunk woman walked out front of the car.
The driver slammed the anchors on and swerved out of the way, and with me failing to put my seatbelt on, I went flying to the floor of the cab.

Foolishly, I felt absolutely fine at the time so took no details from the driver. Today, my back is fucked.

On the plus side, he avoided hitting the woman.

Got a busy week ahead of you next week?
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 20:54, Reply)
Nope. Got a day of temporary work on Monday
apart from that not much. You?

Moving around gingerly and work is my plan.

I apologise for the fact I've made your back hurt.
I don't know how I can make it up to you.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:40, Reply)
get better you bastard.

(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:42, Reply)
I've taken pills and had a nice long soak in the bath.
Beyond that, I'm at a loss as to what I can do to aid the healing process.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:45, Reply)
Oh well, best of luck then.
A good night's sleep it the best suggestion I can offer I'm afraid.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:49, Reply)
I can't get comfy.
This really isn't good.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:50, Reply)
Whatever you do
Don't brush your teeth. Last time I did that with back pain, I bent over the basin and my back just *went*. It took me five minutes to walk as many metres to bed and half the night to fall asleep.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:52, Reply)
He could brush his teeth without bending over.
Or he could have a totally different back injury to you.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:54, Reply)
Meh
He probably does, but some bits sound familiar. Delayed onset, then it being very bad - possibly after some trigger. Mine started hurting during a pool game the day after the thing that probably caused it, but didn't get really bad until later that day. All I'm saying is "Take care for a little while, or it might get worse".
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 22:01, Reply)
Oddly.
I've got pain in my right leg now as well. Calf and hamstring.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:54, Reply)
I'm sorry Jeff
it sounds very much like it's actually cancer. Probably terminal.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:55, Reply)
It's a shame.
I've gotten to like you during the short time we've shared together. I'll miss you.

Give Al back his login.

That's okay.
I'd be worried if it was something serious.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:56, Reply)
What could you have gained from getting his details?
You failed to wear your seatbelt.
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:51, Reply)
I could have got in touch with Don Beech from The Bill.
He'd have sorted it out for me!
(, Sun 14 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
