My lunch was goooood
Just a portion of this, absolutely lovely And this is how it looked in the pan (before the rice was added)

Alt: Aldi is superb, but I can't get everything I want there, although that only tends to extend as far as name brands I use (i.e. Warburtons Toastie, Lea & Perrins, Heinz Ketchup, etc)

There seems to be a bit of a chorizo obsession on /ot
Or is is always you who mentions it?

*some witty comment about Darth's chorizo obsession*

I've mentioned it a few times in the last couple of weeks
If I hadn't, I wouldn't have known the best way to prepare it for the pan. Turns out 0.5cm or thinner slices work very nicely.

As a man obsessed with the world of sausages I have to say I'm not overkeen on chorizo.
As a cooking ingredient it's OK but it's too paprika-ey, on the whole. A man once told me that cooking it in coca-cola is incredible - but I can personally vouch for cooking it in port. That's excellent.

I can think of a million and one other sausages I'd choose over it, though.
