Where do you grow your veg?

(, Tue 16 Aug 2011, 11:50, Reply)
in my garden
a mixture of earth and tub planting.

I am going to give it a go.
Have you used a book/guide?
(, Tue 16 Aug 2011, 12:07, Reply)
not really
a mixture of acquired knowledge and trial and error - sadly I seem to manage to get seeds in later than I need to but I will remember for next year....
Packets of seeds normally have instructions on them and there is always a local old boy who knows his onions so to speak!

I really like asparagus, baked in the oven with some sea salt, or smothered in butter on a muffin with a poached egg.
Devine pleasure, aspagous.

asparagus
wrapped in parma ham, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, roasted and then dressed with parmesan shavings is rather nommy....
