Afternoon drinking is bad
I have little reserves of sobriety to call upon and it's only not very late.

Discuss, if you wish, but don't expect much constructive input from me.

After my blinding morning
I've pissed away the rest of the day doing nothing.

I think I'm going to get a curry this evening b3th.
That is as far as my plans for today have gone.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 17:59, Reply)
Mm curry

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:04, Reply)
I don't know what curry to have though.
I fancy something a bit different.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:07, Reply)
Last curry I had was a dopiaza
it was really nice
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:14, Reply)
That is the double-onion curry isn't it?

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:15, Reply)
Yes
Chicken Dopiaza is splendid.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:16, Reply)
I usually go for something in a Madras style.
Not sure what to get this evening though.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:17, Reply)
Oh dear yes
Somerset. Does Mr B3th hold a candle for them? They were shite.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:00, Reply)
I don't think I've been entirely sober since Friday night
County T20 finals were splendid. OK, we went out but we lost to the best team.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 17:56, Reply)
Ah! But self employment means you don't have to get up early tomorrow morning.
So good work TD!
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:00, Reply)
I've got an advertising campaign to write tomorrow
It's not all lying in bed scratching your bollocks you know.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:02, Reply)
That should form part of your advertising campaign.
*Landlords, spend more time in bed scratching your bollocks by using TD's property services*
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:06, Reply)
That's roughly what my website says
I'll be creative tomorrow.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:14, Reply)
creative bollock scratching

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:18, Reply)
If you had bollocks
You'd know how satisfying a good rummage is.

I can offer a service that allows Landlords a very good scrat indeed whilst I'm doing their legwork.

I get enough time to fiddle with my own parts.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:27, Reply)
what are you going to do for the lady landlords?

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 18:29, Reply)
They can scratch my bollocks

i spent a constructive
few minutes finding the newsletter with one of the compos I came second on a million years ago. In those days it wasn't even vote driven. And you had to carve your entries from stone

Hi everyone!
I'm back after a weekend of mud, cider and music.

Cavey, sorry to hear about your loss.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:02, Reply)
Hi Blousie.
I hope you've had fun. Tell me all about the festivally-goodness of your weekend!
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:03, Reply)
Fri and Saturday were a bit annoying because of the mud and rain showers.
Sunday was fab. Galtres started out as a beer festival so plenty of booze although they were starting to seriously run out a couple of times and had to ask punters to help bring more barrels in. Not really enough good veggie food stalls but a good mix of music. Me and CQ walked home each night so we didn't have to wait in the queue for the bus back to our hotel. 50 minute walk in the pitch black countryside but we enjoyed it.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:06, Reply)
I'll bet you did enjoy the walk you little minx!
What ciders were winners?
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:07, Reply)
Can't remember the name of them. I had something called rat's tails at 7.5%.
We didn't get pissed as walking in the mud was hard work enough without doing it drunk.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:09, Reply)
Did the sun come out for the Levellers?

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:11, Reply)
No but there was no rain. It was dark by the time they came on.
Bloody good fun but they weren't on for long enough. Only an hour.
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:12, Reply)
that's quite a long set for a festival

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:14, Reply)
Thinking about it it might have only been 3/4 of an hour. I shall check my timetable later to make sure.

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:15, Reply)
Does it matter as long as you enjoyed it?

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:15, Reply)
sounds like fun
festivals rule
(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:10, Reply)
Indeed and even better when you have a nice warm bed to go back to.

(, Mon 29 Aug 2011, 19:11, Reply)
ooo - tell us more of your adventures

yeah - sucks, poor little man. Now Higgs is alternately mopeing, rushing about in the way he does to find Boson and flipping out on a scrunched up piece of paper
