What are you up to?
I'm off to Oundle to see a chum's second hand book shop, which will be fun. He better give me a discount.
Alt: Just how long do you think you could live in Gonz's home, without suffering a nervous breakdown?

It sounds fucking ace actually! I could totally live there

He's practically offering to feed you for half the week, and you can borrow all his tech stuff.
But I fear it would overload my brain in a few weeks.

I'll be spending the weekend doing some final tip runs with the old run down car before trading it in for a nice new shiny one. The problem with buying a nice new shiny car is that I might have to clean it and all the rest of that boring shit. All my other cars were shitheaps so I've never bothered before.
Alt: Might be a laugh. If I could bring the wife and kids with me the pressure would be more on Gonz.

Don't be such a skinflint.

If only I'd thought to clean my car sooner

am wishing I had taken the day off to take my niece to the beach with my brother for what could well be the last good day of the year.
I am looking forward to watching Southend United tomorrow and probably The Inbetweeners in teh evening.
Alt: it sounds fine, but I'd make him shut the bathroom door before taking a shit.

I went out for a curry last night, the Royal Bengal is 2 minutes walk away and got a good review when I googled Indian Restaurants near [postcode]. The brush their Shami Kebabs with egg so it has a crispy omeletty style coating which I really liked. And the Royal Bengal Special was quite tasty.
Being the only person in the place was a bit disconcerting, but it was 8pm on a Thursday. I suspect it gets a bit more crowded later on.
Alt: I would teach Gonz the MEANING of messy. It would be hard to tell my old place from a squat inhabited by crackheads with low self-esteem, which is why I have a cleaner in my new place, just to force me to pick up after myself every fortnight.

At the moment, an archeologist would be more appropriate.

I once got a really bad stomach, went to my mums, two weeks later was under the knife having major surgery, 4 months later come back to the flat. I had to buy a new fridge and cutler because everything went off.
NEVER going back to that style of living.

Part of why I moved is to get a fresh start and develop new good habits. When I first moved in I had a lodger/housemate who negotiated to pay less if she cleaned and cooked regularly - so I never developed my own cleaning routines. When she moved out I was screwed.
