I used to go and see metal bands all the time
and would be headbanging and moshing all over the place. People were dicks back then as well, but it's got worse with the shoving and the running in stupid circles.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:14, 1 reply, 14 years ago)
People run in circles? What for?
Is jumping up and down awfully passe now?
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:15, Reply)
search for circle pit on youtube
it's fucking dumb.

Where the mosh pit would normally be you get a load of people running in a big circle as fast as they can.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:19, Reply)
Yeah, looks pointless.
They all need a wash and a haircut.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:22, Reply)
Haha, that sounds great.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:25, Reply)
it's not, it's stupid

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:28, Reply)
I would actually pay to go and see a band just so I could watch the circle pit.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:29, Reply)
that's like paying to fuck a stunning hooker so you can stare close-up at her arsehole

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:33, Reply)
No doubt there are men who would.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:36, Reply)
but it would be stupid is my point
and any old hooker would do
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:39, Reply)
I like the irony aspect of paying for a stunning hooker and then only getting off by looking at her anus.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:41, Reply)
that's kind of my point
no point paying for something good to only look at shit.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:43, Reply)
I know what your point is.
I'm just saying how funny it would be.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:45, Reply)
it wouldn't be funny
it'd be stupid.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:49, Reply)
Hahahahahaha.
How much would this cost?
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:37, Reply)
the same price as fucking her I assume
I didn't actually think this through at all
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:39, Reply)
It's a good plan.
We just need to iron out the detail.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:43, Reply)
That all looks a bit gay and line-dancey to me

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:29, Reply)
haha
tis true
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:31, Reply)
I'm evidently having a day of truth.
Scabs gone yet?
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:33, Reply)
yeah mostly
have got a couple of pockmarks on my face and a little bit blotchy, but mostly fine
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:34, Reply)
How long til the impending shackling?

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:38, Reply)
it's on saturday

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:39, Reply)
Time to get with the foundation then
still at least it's mostly gone. Hope the whole thing goes well I'm, sure it'll all be lovely.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:42, Reply)
naa, it's not too bad
and I've worked an 'amusing' comment about it into my speech.

Thanks though. I'm just hoping the weather isn't really shit
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:44, Reply)
Your getting married in a field like a hippy?
I know you've probably covered all this, but I'm allergic to weddings and so will not have read it.

On a side note, I was genuinely surprised at how ha4rd it was to say something positive re your impending marriage. Not because it's yours, you understand, I think I have more residual marriage issues than I thought. interesting.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:47, Reply)
that was the original plan
but it's actually really expensive to get marquees and bogs and stuff, so we are having it in a stylish Georgian hotel in the middle of Exeter. Our mates fucking love it because they can get slaughtered and walk home.

That is fairly interesting. I've only had good experiences of them so far
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:48, Reply)
I think he's talking of the marriage and not the ceremony.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:51, Reply)
my married friends are thoroughly enjoying themselves
and within my quite large extended family there has only been one marriage that split up.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:53, Reply)
True, true.
Although I think the fact that I went into the cermony believing it would magically make things different and perfect and everlasting has not helped. /twat.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:54, Reply)
Good plan.
Other people's wedding have been tollerable, although not been to one while free and single which would add to the enjoyment muchly. My own was great at the time, I suppose it's more what came after. /bitter twisted shell of a man.

Is that the hotel at the end of the pedestrianised bit?
I cannot recall the name
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:01, Reply)
No
I have no idea where you mean. There isn't actually anywhere that I'd class as pedestrianised
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:04, Reply)
There is a bollarded street running next to the grass in front of the cathedral
with a nice hotel at the end of it
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:08, Reply)
They can try...
but they can't stop Vippy taking his van where he likes.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:09, Reply)
If you can find them, maybe you can hire
THE SMUG TEAM
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:11, Reply)
oh right, that bit
the Royal Clarence probably

but no, that place is far too fucking fussy. It's a typical hotel with delusions of grandeur.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:11, Reply)
£12 for a G&T in there!
Fucking hell
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 14:11, Reply)
You are soooYESTERDAY Kroney.
Get with it. Man.
(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:20, Reply)
Get with the times, grandad.

(, Thu 8 Sep 2011, 13:24, Reply)
Hahaha.
In the car the other day I became acutely aware of how like my Dad I am becoming.

Even spouting the same shit.
