I'd quite like to see that. I bet it was loving and thoughtful.

It's on the missus' profile page I think.

Oh, that is special.

Innit?
I like the loving attention to details. And the CDCs.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 15:58, Reply)
If you really have a coat like that
I'm impressed.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 15:58, Reply)
Sadly, I do.
It's this one: www.fantasywaistcoats.co.uk/coats_velvet7.shtml

You, sir, are a stupendous bender.
a cad and a charlatan and a lifter of young gentlemen's shirts.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:00, Reply)
Tell that to the wife.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:01, Reply)
you say wife
I say beard ;)
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 17:02, Reply)
You've met him in person then?

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:02, Reply)
Badger hasn't had the benefit of my company, despite my regular visits to the fair city in which he resides.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:03, Reply)
Takes a real man to pull off a coat like that.
On that subject, do you thing top hat and tails to the next bash would be over doing it?
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:04, Reply)
Possibly, yes.
I wear the coat on occasion on nights out, mainly in winter as it's nice and warm.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:06, Reply)
Sadly this cannot be said for the tail coat.
I might see if I still fit in it when I get home, it's been a while.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:08, Reply)
I used to have one years ago.
Sadly it shrunk in the wardrobe. You could probably get away with the coat, less so the top hat I feel.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:09, Reply)
But the top hat's the best bit.
Mine has a feather in it and eveything.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:13, Reply)
The 'Victorian vagrant' look is so last year.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:17, Reply)
Like you Mr Boyce, I see no virtue in moving with the times.
If something is good I will stick with it, no matter how old it gets, if it sucks I will avoid it, no matter how new and trendy.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:19, Reply)
Then you'd better throw your top hat away before you get press-ganged into The Levellers.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:24, Reply)
Not a problem
I rather like them, last band I saw live actually. *makes bet with self that Monty considers them 'bent'*
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:25, Reply)
He liked them before they became big, I seem to remember.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:28, Reply)
That might have been me.
Although I obtained Letters from the Underground on your advice and am thoroughly enjoying it.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:38, Reply)
Glad to hear it.

(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:41, Reply)
Seeing them live also helped rekindle the love
especially as they were playing 90% old stuff, but they slipped Cholera Well in too.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:43, Reply)
Correct.
I have found that cassette by the way. I'll try and get it digitised by a pal and will then get it up to you.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:50, Reply)
Any chance of a copy?
/cheeky fucker
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:52, Reply)
Sure no problem
They were way better before they got a deal and proper production. I think the tape is a live show but I may be lying.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 17:04, Reply)
Regardless of what Monty thinks
They are bent
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:28, Reply)
*narrows eyes*
Monty may not be the only one throwing thing at your gig young man.
(, Thu 15 Sep 2011, 16:39, Reply)
So why are you still sporting it?
