I've just had very rare steak, tomato, and carrot salad with mixed leaves and a nice mustardy dressing.

Does no one on here simply eat a sarnie at their desk?
Are your places of work all equipped with cooking facilities, or does everyone work from home?

I often eat a sarnie at my desk

I really like the idea of working from home
But the reality is I would spend all day masturbating and getting stoned. I'm yet to think of a way to make this pay.

We are blessed with a fridge, coffee machine and a panini toaster (which you can cook loads of stuff in!) in our office
(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 12:43, Reply)
So you bring raw meat to work and cook it on a panini toaster?

(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 12:47, Reply)
I could do, but no, it was already cooked
We have cooked 12 bacon and sausage sarnies on it, cheese toasties, toast, omelettes, etc.

I enquired about a George Foreman grill on Freecycle the other day
If I get that, I might bring it into work from time to time...

(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 13:04, Reply)
I'd never cook steak on it though
Sausages, bacon, etc would be fine!
(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 13:06, Reply)
If you leave them on for a while first they cook meat really quickly
I'd not do a steak on there but chicken takes about 8 mins
(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 13:08, Reply)
Chicken seems a very good idea!

(, Thu 22 Sep 2011, 13:09, Reply)
