I am immensely proud of my kids and don't say it enough
Alt:
This happened to us at Nandos in Camden. The table next to us were being fucking horrible to the staff and when our food turned up (we were all royally pissed), there seemed a bit more than we'd ordered.

We nommed it all down while the other table complained. It turned out we'd also eaten all their food and they had stopped serving so had to leave hungry. This was not at all funny

I like this.
I wonder how much this (and indeed my own example) was karma, and how much it was staff retribution.

I don't care
It was free spicy chicken! FREE! SPICY! CHICKEN!

I'm good eitherway
I usually make a point of being polite and cheery with serving staff. Who pisses of someone who can spit in your food?

Indeed
Always be nice until you have finished

Having spent a very long time working in the service industry
I see no reason to be unpoleasant to serving staff unless they are massively unhelpful/incompetent. Even then, they could just be new at the job, or having an off day.
It's always better to be nice to people in face-to-face dealings. I tend to save all my cunty attitude for here. And for mr b3th, obvuously.

This too.

They also wouldn't have prepared the food

After working at McDonalds, I now find it impossible to be anything but polite to those who serve me
Sadly, it's now gone so far that I actually find it difficult to complain about anything. I recently returned a pint in my local, and I really didn't enjoy that. Luckily it was no problem, but I hated doing it.
