It is the most disgusting place in the country.
Although don't get me started on shit cities as I'll be here all day, my housemates get endless joy out of going "yeah Blackburn's quite a nice place to live" within my earshot and then watching me go on a rant as to why Blackburn and another thirty odd cities are hellholes.

The worst thing about Stoke is the feeling of hopeless, existential despair you start to get if you spend more than twenty minutes there.
The only similar place I've been to in England is Newark, but even so it's not that bad.
