I'm drinking shit cider and fucking about on Facebook while kind of reviewing some new music I've downloaded.
Tomorrow I'm sleeping in, going to feed my friend's cat then getting picked up to go to my other friend's house, where his mum will treat me like a son and I may just get a bit heady mashed on the Spiderman's missus, then walk cross-country to the pub and back in the dark. Sunday will be spent washing my jeans and recovering generally.

It's fucking awesome, I'm taking my mojo out with me.

I am drinking wine and listening to Teenage Fanclub.
One of my favourite bands.

I am also drinking wine, having just this very minute got through the door.
And I'm listening to the oven hum, that's music to my ears.
Evening.

I'm drinking wine as well
And listening to my ginger moggie purring into my left ear.

I am drinking Tanglefoot and about to migrate to wine
Following 3 pints of Windsor & Eton Broadsword, cooking, then popping out for a cheeky pint of Peroni.

I may contemplate solids at some point and might even listen to my wife. Briefly.

Can you still do the beer/wine mix?
I used to do it but even my cast iron gut gave up in the end.

I can as long as it's only 1 or 2 glasses of wine with or after food. Otherwise I am ruined for two days.
But then, I am 38.

Maybe the food element was something I missed
I'm 43 and should know better.

Have also learned it has to be a "proper" meal - not just the stilton & water biscuits I really want.

(, Fri 21 Oct 2011, 21:29, Reply)
Yeah - I don't suppose dry roasted peanuts are "a meal" really.

Add some pork scratchings and you've had two courses.

No matter how pissed I've ever been
And I've been exceptionally pissed many times - I can't bring myself to eat Pork Scratchings.

Pickled Eggs - no problem. Crisps in a mucky bowl on the bar - fine. Scampi-flavoured snacks I've done.

But not - not NEVER - Pork Scratchings.

There's no logic to this because I'll gleefully scoff back pudding and sausage which is also reconstituted offal, but I can't do pork scratchings.

Oh mate, I was vegetarian for 28 years and pork scratchings are one of the most wonderful things on this planet.

Not even for an old soak like me :(
Ham and cheese pastry puff for supper tonight.
Just about finished second glass, only one left.
Then there's a bottle of Duvel...
