All that would do is make the kids be good around one teacher. I meant that you learn to respect people and good manners should be automatic. My kids know they wont get anything at all until they say please and thank you. I've always taught them this so they do it automatically 99% of the time now.
Next door's kid never says please or thank you and it sounds so rude in comparison

If I do everything else wrong at least my mass murdering psycho offspring will say "Please may I cut off your head, fuck the hole and eat it?"
"Thank you"

I've made a point of not doing anything for a friend of mine unless they say 'please' now, as it really annoys me when they don't.

But aren't you currently "not gainfully employed"?

Sort of. I'm not employed, but I'm not unemployed either.

I'm sure you have a strong work ethic anyway, like the rest of us dossing around on b3ta during the day.

so it's up to me if I want to spend teh day doing shit all. But it means at the end of teh month I don't get paid, so I have to motivate myself to do SOME work, or I don't have any money.

I think we can spot the productive b3tans on any given day by the fact that they're not here.
