My sister had a pop at me for correcting her son.
He kept saying "Me want..." etc. So I corrected him and she told me not to. I said "Well if you want him to sound simple..."

God forbid she wants her kids to speak correctly

Exactly!!
It's that misguided view of let them talk however they want and you can correct them later.

For now, we'll let them speak like Worzel fucking Gummidge.

Kick her in the cunt.
It's the only way she'll learn.

Bosh! One for Mum.
Bosh! One for son.

Everybody's a winner!

Lesser spotted sensible answer:
The appropriate way to correct grammatical errors in speech in young children is to repeat what they have said, posed as a question using the words/grammar that they should have used.
You are fighting a losing battle if your sister does not speak correctly though.

Then you may kick her in the cunt.
