I was in the middle of setting up a fraud investigation with my bank for an amount of money that came out of my account and then in the middle of the call remembered what it was for. I've never felt so stupid in my life and believe me I've done a lot of stupid stuff.

I frequently get calls from the bank querying the unusual activity on my account. As they list the transactions I have to explain to them that this is perfectly normal for my profligate wife. They also took the trouble of cancelling my debit card recently as they were certain that it had been compromised. I checked the statement online, it hadn't.
