I've just had a pork pie.
This will either sit really well, or conspire to give me chronic heartburn. It's like playing food roulette.

I'm also filling in another bloody application form, and I've lost my muse. However, I have to get it done today so I can get the missus to print it at work tomorrow. Which is why I'm fannying about on here, obviously.

Our sandwich purveyor does little selection packs
half a sausage roll, half a scotch egg, quarter of a pork pie. Nice variety (although last Christmas's dodgy scotch egg leaving me shitting through the eye of a needle has put me off them a bit).

Do these tasty treats have teeth marks on them?
They sound like leftovers to me.

Pastry is one foodstuff that can set off my heartburn within a matter of seconds.
So I generally avoid it. However, at this present moment, so far, so good.

I can't stand pork pies
The jelly you seem to get in most of them knocks me sick.
