Tbh, I prefer T2 for a few reasons
1) Arnie is a shit bad guy in comparison to Robert Patrick
2) Hardcore Linda Hamilton is far better than screaming Linda Hamilton
3) The graphics are incredible.

The 7-year gap between the making of the two films
certainly makes the original's graphics look shit if you watch the sequel first.

In fact Aliens is my least favourite of the 3, yes 3, not 4, 3.

Aliens lacked the suspense and horror of the other 2.

I have this sequels argument a lot. The ones that appear better like T2 and Godfather 2 are nothing without the original films. Plus terminator is way better than T2, I'd rather have a screaming Linda Hamilton than a whiney little bitch John Conner

You are correct. There are only 3 Alien films.
And whilst it's an exceptionally strong trilogy, 3 is the weakest, for me. Great idea to take a totally different direction again, but it ended up something of a mess.
