On the way home I went to the french deli that's attached to a michaline star resturant and bought..
- some amazing really really soft almost liquid goat's cheese
- some amazing really really good (but will take 3-4 days left out to mature) cannon bear
- some gelee de piment despelette (like a chili jelly)
- some mouse de foie de cannard (mouse of duck liver)

And I already got at home some other amazing cheese, and I've got some deli meats too.

They also had Violit Syrup, Tea, jelly and honey. I'm getting some of that when I get paid so I can make really nice...ermmm.... maybe macaroons? Voilit macroons would be well lush. I'll do the sorbet again too.

BUT, but, and this is where it falls down short, I wanted some fresh crusty bread from the posh Paul's Pettisiery but they ran out of white crusty, so I'm going to have to wait until tomo to have my posh french grub, because its' really not worth eating tonight if the experiance (and eating this will be an 'experiance' as well as a meal) will be so much better.

So tonight I'm gonna see what I've got in the fridge, if I remember correctly I got some marks'n'sparks nibbles, pork belly with bbq or something, I'll have that maybe. Or I've got some butternut squash ravioli from waitrose that I can boil up with some roasted pine nuts and some melted butter.

I've got my eye on the pork belly at the butcher's, I want to do something fucking epic with it sometime.
I'm filling the void with pork scratchings at the moment.

Ken Hom did an amazing looking pork belly dish on the show "Perfect... Chinese", I have it recorded on my skybox.
Let me see if I can find a youtube of it.

Some things will never be the same again.
One of these is Camambert.

Cannon Bear is far better.

You really do misspell the weirdest words.
Is it deliberate? Are you showing your utter contempt for the conformity of 'spelling'?
(, Fri 18 Nov 2011, 19:39, Reply)
Cannon Bear was one I made up a little while ago when I couldn't think up the real spelling and nothing I wrote made any sense in my head at all.
I really don't think of it, and if I have to re-write a word 3 times because the spelling doens't look right, I just go with whatever my head thinks and hope people can grab it by the context.

I will cherish it forever
Or until I forget it, whichever is sooner.

Hah =)

Sometimes it takes a few readings to figure out the word
but it's always entertaining.

Thanks =D
It's kindda ironic (I think, I get confused what that means exactly) that a dyslexic is really good at coming up with a kindda word game.
