I'm doing beef in beer for dinner. Roast potatoes, maybe some new tatties as well, and savoy cabbage. This was going to be yesterday's dinner but the missus wasn't up to it. Yay for slow cookers.
I'd rather not do today again if it's all the same as all I've done is fill in applications and it was fucking dull.

a bit of tomato puree and some thyme, and a bit of brown sugar to counteract the bitterness of the Guinness (although that shouldn't be a bother if you like the taste of Guinness, but I don't)
Served with celeriac and potato mash.
