When I was a teen I went through loads and loads of different sleeping/anxiety pills to try, but for the last 9-10 years or soo, I've been on Amyltriptaline, and it works a charm.

I'm trying to avoid going back on the happy pills again, as I'm generally pretty cheery,
but for some reason, starting at the tail end of last year I seem to always be stressing. it's odd as it's not really like me generally.

Drink heavily.
Works for me.
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:15, Reply)
Nah, closest thing for me is grass
but I'm trying not to start smoking again.
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:18, Reply)
doesn't weed make you paranoid and jumpy anyway?
reckon that might be why you have anxierty to start off with?
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:20, Reply)
Some people maybe, never did that to me.
unless it's a side effect of stopping smoking it, but I'm pretty sure the dates don't add up.
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:21, Reply)
Nor me. It's an urban myth - unless you're a whoopsy lightweight.

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:22, Reply)
pretty sure scienstific studies aren't urban legends

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:23, Reply)
These studies to which you allude
identify that a tiny proportion of smokers MAY experience issues. Much as alcohol makes a tiny proportion of drinkers violent and/or dependent. Like that - but an even tinier proportion. They also suggest that this small demographic are, to use a medical term, 'whoopsy lightweights'.
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:27, Reply)
i think you're a whoopsy lightweight

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:25, Reply)
i thought i saw a documentary where they said smoking it for a long peroid can change the way your brain works a bit
so after a while even when you stop using your still a bit jumpy, even if you didn't get paranoid on it
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:24, Reply)
Only if you're a whoopsy lightweight.

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:25, Reply)
i'm pretty sure your only saying that cos the people in the wall told you to

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:26, Reply)

They ain't happy pills, they're (in my case) for pain and anxiety, but they work well for sleep too.

(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:16, Reply)
OK, will bear in mind, but generally would rather sort my head than take more pills.
thanks anyway
(, Thu 9 Feb 2012, 14:19, Reply)
Cool, totally agree that's the best way to do it if you can, but think of it as having your arm in a caste, you wouldn't think twice about it.
