Oh man, apple just announced a whole load of new awesome stuff.
I think I'm gonna upgrade my laptop in a few months to one of the new ones, they're amazingly stunningly stupiddly high end, I'm supprised that this amount of tech can fit in a single laptop.

Macbook Air + Macbook pro = spec bump with price drop
Macbook Pro(r)* = Retina display (4x 1080p), up to 2.8ghz quad core, up to 16gb ram, up to 782gb SSD hard drive.
iOS6 = deep facebook intrigration, amazing stunning maps (with turn-by-turn and 3D views), you can ask siri sports/movie/resturant questions and I think/hope they've open up locations around the world. Now when someone calls you, you can press some buttons to reply "Call me later" or set it to remind you when you get to home or work. Has a do-not-disturb mode. It has a new system that'll basicly attempt to replace ticket and store-card system.

Shame. I want a Kindle Fire but it looks like I've more chance of going ice skating with Satan than I have of Amazon getting their fucking act together and releasing it over here. An iPad mini, with a correspondingly mini price, would also work well.

Nope ! 'fraid not, It _might_ come in line whenever they announce the next iPod Touches, around october time. But I doubt it...
... as far as I know, there is no refference of it in iOS6 code, which generally means it won't be out for the device when the new iOS hardware happens.

Today !
It's £3050 to get the completly maxed out one, with 16gb ram, 2.7ghz quad core (with boost up to 3.7), retina display. I'd get about half that for my current laptop.

The origional iPad is no longer supported, so I might upgrade that and give the old one to Ma'.
