We are off to Amble in a few weeks so will be visiting Alnwick castle and Walkworth castle

I went to Warwick castle last year, it was ok, felt a bit too theme parky though
Great for kids though i guess

They keep doing shit things to attract more thick people.
The Ghost Tower was changed to the Princess tower a few years back and then the last time I went there it had been changed again to tie in with some TV programme that I've never seen (Merlin or something?)

There's a castle near us with loads of Cannons that were all filled with concrete
This guy has made it his life's work to get grants to turn them back in to working guns. Last year for fathers day my darling wife and my girls took me to the castle for a day of watching them all get fired.

I was in heaven. You don't want to breathe in the gunpowder smoke though, gives you the shits.
