I plan to do some decoupage - gluing material to a bit of furniture and varnishing it. I'm going with sari material and making something a bit like those indian patchworks. I went into a sari shop today, got talking to the woman there and she does textiles and had loads of rolls of awesome material in the basement that I rifled through.
