You have one in one room that picks up the wireless signal
then sends it through the power to the one in the other room, which rebroadcasts it.

It's not witchcraft
all cables everywhere are made from the same copper. Except fibre-optic, obviously. Which is glass.

The one's I linked don't have a wireless broadcast, they're just wired to wired.
Wireless broadcast ones are like £80 wired to wired are like £40 and better imo

Even better.
I don't have much truck with wireless.

I think they move the leccy out of the way for a second and then send your signal and then let the leccy back in again.

Different frequencies.

(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:13, Reply)
ahhh, so the leccy is pushed down the wire more often than the internet
this would explain why my movies are always buffering, I'm waiting for another dose of internet
(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:15, Reply)

rather than a slow lane austin allegro
(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:22, Reply)
You have to get up really close behind the internet signal and flash your lights at it.

(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:23, Reply)
Now i live on the third floor, or "up a hill" will that be a problem?
my allegro interent is a little under powered

(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:26, Reply)
Are you referring to the signal and electricity through the wires
Or Ape's understanding of what you have told him?
(, Mon 16 Jul 2012, 15:22, Reply)
No, that's a network booster,
this is powerline network adaptor. Plug one end into your router, then the other at any plug socket in the house and it'll come out like running a wire between those two places (about twice as fast as wireless)
