done.
how do you view change? essential to progress, good as a feast, or to be feared and where possible, tormented with pithcforks, fire, and an angry mob of sun readers?
alt: what's more important to you, money or free time?

and there's no enjoyment in having loads of money and no time to do anything with it, I'd imagine.

to lose SOME £ that's not totally essential, but gain some time... it's a good call?

There's got to be some point to it, though. I wouldn't want to do it just so I could sit around in my pants more often. If I were to be spending more time with my family, or more time doing something else I love then I'd be happy making that trade-off, yes.
Money doesn't equal quality of life, is what I think I'm trying to get at, here.

There is enough repetition and monotony in my life.
Alt: Could I just have a little of both? One without the other is not as good.

i said give them a rating of importance. maybe a percentage.
for me, it's about 70-30 free time vs money. long as the rent gets paid, and there's bacon in the fridge, and every now and then i can do somethign rash like hit up a festival or go on holiday, i'd MUCH rather have some quality wanking time. i mean free time. to you know, whatever it is people who arent internet shut-ins do. bikini clad girls in hot tubs 'n' shit..

I would say: take the lower paid job with more free time. If you can afford to live on the new wage, I think you will be happier to have the extra free time.

lets say you have a life where you live somewhere fucking cool, and you have a lovely missus you wanna spend time with.
now lets say your options are: live comfortably within your means and have a little spending room extra for luxuries. leave the house at quarter to nine and be home by quarter past six. OR earn a fair amount more, lose most of it to travel costs, and taxes, and spend four fucking hours a day sitting on a sweltering/freezing train, l;eave the house at 7:30, get back at 7:30 PROVIDED there' no transport fuckups, eat, make lunch, do the dishes, MAYBE get an hour to sit down and chill, then go to bed.. what's the merit of choosing the latter option?
(, Thu 19 Jul 2012, 12:05, Reply)
after workling it out, i'll be better of by about £100 a month in terms of what's in my account. on a lower wage.

Alt: money. Mostly because I have none, but too much free time.

problem is there's too many people with a vested interest in constant change for the sake of it, not just politicians, we even have "change managers" ffs
(, Thu 19 Jul 2012, 11:56, Reply)
isn't that just a posh word for tramps? 'manage your change for you guv'nor?'
