He's your ex, and you've put forward enough reasons why he's a cock, and yet you still pine after him like some dewey eyed St Bernard.

Sometimes I just reach a breaking point and say something. I realise it's about as much use as a Rory Lyon.

as to how you managed to spend £35 on a wok. It's a bit of steel with a handle.

it amused me that the one i found was bright pink and said "if you can't take the heat, get out the kitchen" on it.
i bought my brother a le creuset one, which was stupid money, but i LOVE their stuff. looks so good in the kitchen.

You can get le creuset woks? the mind boggles.
All you want is a ten quid carbon steel one and season it properly.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:28, Reply)

I have a Le Creuset wok. Of course.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:29, Reply)

we have a le creuset one which must have been at least 30 odd quid, bu I expect it to last forever.
Plus it was a wedding present so I didn't actually pay for it.

your guest might have been a bit more generous than you thought!

I just didn't know off the top of my head how much it was.

What can I say, I have nice friends. ALso we bought some bits using vouchers that people have given us so it might not have come from just one person.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:29, Reply)

they both cost a tenner.
maybe I'm just lucky then. I suppose you might be justified in paying more for a non-stick one but they don't really work as well.

Ours is brilliant.
SCORE ONE TO THE SUPERFLY!!!!!!!!!!
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:30, Reply)

the problem with cheaper ones is that you can't coat steel with teflon and aluminium makes for a rubbish wok.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:34, Reply)

the humanity.
I'm not wrong, anyway. Le creuset stuff isn't technically non-stick, old chap.
Edit - oh, it turns out they do make non-stick stuff now. There you are.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:36, Reply)

I'll take that apology now.
I would like it in the form of biscuits.
( , Mon 23 Jul 2012, 13:40, Reply)

unless you spend £100 on a le crueset one, non stick woks are pish.
Anyway, I haven't got any biscuits. Soz.
