got a rescue hamster on Sunday.
She'll never replace him, but she has a proper home now.
(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 15:51, 3 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
they have rescue centres for hamsters?
what do they call them, restaurants for snakes?
(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 15:54, Reply)
No, silly, he means like a St Bernard is a rescue dog.
It has a tiny thimble of brandy hanging fromn it's neck and everything. Rescue hamsters are a much under appreciated tool in post earthquake aid, you know.
(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 15:55, Reply)
they are nocturnal
and have no means of defending themselves. no wonder the silly sods are extinct in the wild.
(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 15:57, Reply)
they aren't nocturnal.
They're crepuscular.
(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 16:03, Reply)
As are moths apparently.

(, Mon 20 Aug 2012, 16:04, Reply)
Hamsters certainly are craptacular, yes.

People always say this about guinea pigs
never about dogs and cats. Perhaps I should remind them about Korean Dog restaurants everytime they talk about them

Loads of animals are perfectly edible
it's all about cultural choices.
