I did some ski seasons as a chalet boy (in the kitchen cheffing, not doing the rounds) but was too pissed every day to learn to ski, regret that now as I couldn't afford a ski resort holiday.

(of all previously unlikely places for a gastro pub) and for the first week, their kitchen wasn't up and running. so all they had was a range of pork pies that you could choose from.
not so good if you HATE meat :(

which has a massive beer garden and a "crab shack" - basically an outdoor kitchen separate to the main menu that does a massive range of seafood and chips. great idea, the place is always rammed.
